Re: Protocol Modifications
At the March Medical Control Review Committee meeting, the committee approved
two protocol changes that are effective immediately.
1. Removed Metoprolol from the V-Fib/Pulseless V-Tach protocol and added
verbiage about a Combitube airway in the airway management section of the
protocol.
2. Added an allergy contraindication for Ipratropium Bromide (Atrovent).

TRAINING REMINDER
The next Cardiac to Intermediate and Shock Trauma to Enhanced transition
programs start on March 29, 2004. Space is still available. Take this

Drug Boxes: Some CT boxes are being stocked with Morphine and Diazepam
Carpujects®. Providers are advised to use caution when using these two
drugs, assuring the correct drug is selected for administration.
