On October 3, 2003 the state ambulance contract with Wheeled Coach was
extended for the last one year term until September 15, 2004. The contract
offers a variety of chassis selections for Type I, Type I – Medium Duty,
Type II and Type III ambulances.
During the final one year term of the current contract the Transportation
Committee of the EMS Advisory Board will be working to update the
ambulance bid specifications and negotiate a new competitively procured
contract.
