Cardiac Arrest - Top 10 Do's and Don’ts When You Get Them Back
We work so hard to resuscitate our cardiac arrest patients. Unfortunately, many arrest end with a poor outcome. However, sometimes we get them back! The post resuscitation phase of the call can be very dynamic and may require many actions on your part to aid in a full recovery for the patient. This presentation will discuss the management of the post-arrest patient and highlight best practices and practices that should be avoided.

AirCare 5 L.I.V.E. 2010

AirCare 5 L.I.V.E. 2010 has been designed to provide relevant information about new and innovative advances in EMS and to stimulate discussion on current and future practices in the field and hospital environments. Content includes lectures, hands-on skills and interactive sessions. Our targeted audience includes dispatchers, prehospital providers, nurses, physicians, allied health care professionals and other emergency responders in the Shenandoah Valley and surrounding areas. The program will be held April 10, 2010 at Blue Ridge Community College.

ALS Continuing Education (CSEMS Council) - 2010

These programs are CE for advanced life support providers. These CE classes are open to all ALS providers for Category 1 CE credit. Additional information regarding the schedule, topics and speakers for the Super CE days is announced at least one month before the class date and registration is then opened.

Class starts at 19:00 at the CSEMS Council.
