CSEMS Council Regional Awards Program

Nine individuals and three regional agencies received awards from the Central Shenandoah Regional EMS Council at an awards ceremony held July 23, 2008 at the Grand Caverns Park.

“The award winners and all nominees are outstanding representatives of our regional EMS system,” said CSEMSC President, Gary Critzer. “These award winners are being submitted to the State EMS Advisory Board to compete at the state level in the Governor’s EMS Awards. The winners will be announced on Saturday, November 15, 2008 in Norfolk at the 29th Annual Virginia EMS Symposium.”

Each winner received a distinctive award and pin from CSEMS Board President Gary Critzer, Tim Perkins of the Virginia Office of EMS, and EMS Program Representative Andy Daniels signifying their contribution to the Central Shenandoah EMS region and the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Gary Critzer receives Governor's award for excellence in EMS

Gary Critzer, President of the Central Shenandoah EMS Council, was honored Saturday, November 10, 2007 at the Annual Governor's EMS Awards Banquet when he was presented with the Governor's Award for Excellence in EMS. This award is presented to an individual who exemplifies outstanding dedication and service to the statewide Virginia emergency medical services system, and has demonstrated a commitment to a comprehensive, integrated system of emergency medical services throughout the Commonwealth. The Council congratulates Gary on this tremendous accomplishment.
